The Counselors

at Groffdale

caring professionals

All families, couples, and individuals struggle at some time in their lives. Sometimes we all need some extra help and support when we reach the end of our own abilities to cope with these challenges in our personal lives, as a family, or in our professional lives. Reaching out for professional help to learn new ways to heal and manage these stressors is vital.

The Counselors at Groffdale are trained in helping a variety of challenges that all marriages, families and individuals encounter. We look forward to serving you, your family, church, or organization.

Tom and Carol are both private practitioners who have chosen to serve clients together in this location, under the title The Counsellors at Groffdale.

THE COUNSELORS AT GROFFDALE OFFER:

Couples

We consider the strengths of each person and the relationship as we explore communication, differences in family history and the wounds that have been created in the relationship.

Individuals

We seek to work with individuals in the midst of various crisis, spanning the full spectrum of life experiences.

Families

Many families get stuck in dysfunctional ways of interacting and need help getting “unstuck.” We can help families better understand each other and open lines of communication, facilitating greater connection.

What CLIENTS ARE SAYING

Tom Horst’s compassion and skill were so helpful to me in my recovery from sexual abuse. My time spent with him has helped me deal with my self-blame and shame, and brought me to a place of healing as a husband and father.
